Jakob Schlaepfer is classically known for his creation of 'fantasy fabrics' - those which display a detailed amount of imagination. The sequins on this Schlaepfer fabric are in a range of printed multi-colours and are sewn onto a silk georgette. Available in a range of colour variations. This sequin fabric would make a gorgeous evening dress, perfect for a cocktail jacket, or go wild and make a full length coat. Whatever you make, we guarantee you will turn heads when you wear this.

As fabrics and trimmings are cut to your specification, orders are non-refundable once cut. Accessories (cufflinks & buttons) may be returned for refund within 14 days of receipt if in perfect re-saleable condition

Jakob Schlaepfer is a 104-year-old textile company, known for their ‘fantasy fabrics’ such as sequined embroidery, developed in the 1960’s. The tortoiseshell-looking sequins that Marc Jacobs used in one of his first collections for Louis Vuitton, was in fact the L.V. logo chopped up in a blender, was a Schlaepfer creation. Recently current designer, Martin Leuthold has developed cotton guipures for Prada, as well as sequined ones for Miu Miu, inspired by Schlaepfer. Clients include CHANEL, Cirque du Soleil and Disney.
